Circular Economy: Battery Electric Vehicles

Battery electric vehicles only deliver their promised benefits if buyers can judge what they are getting, and battery condition is the hardest thing on the car to judge. This project measures what buyers actually know about batteries and what they will pay for better information, using discrete choice experiments and national surveys.

The work runs from literature review through instrument design to estimation, and the survey instruments are published so other researchers can reuse them.
