I am a research economist in the Applied Economics Office at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where I lead projects on the circular economy of battery electric vehicles, consumer perspectives on plastic recycling, and the economics of community resilience planning. I also teach environmental and resource economics as an adjunct in Johns Hopkins University’s MS in Applied Economics program.

My research studies the behavioral drivers, policy interventions, and incentives behind sustainable technology adoption and resilience decisions, using choice experiments, survey design, and stated and revealed preference methods. I strive to answer questions in my research that are both academically interesting and policy relevant.
